Kia ora, welcome

Hikutaia School has a strong sense of community and family.  It is well supported by an enthusiastic and hardworking P.T.A that run yearly events such as  a Trail Ride, Quiz Night, and Fishing Competition. We have a whanau system of vertical groupings across the school which encourages a family like feel.  The older children are encouraged to support and care for their younger peers through whanau activity days and the more competitive aspect of whole school sports days.
